Those of you who go shooting every now and then:

Several of the mags I've used lately on glocks are friggin IMPOSSIBLE to load, almost breaking my fingers trying to get anything past the 6th round into it. Am I just a sissy weakling who wont push hard enough on my 9mm bullets?

The clip is dry.
Also, if it is plastic, they are known to warp and get out of shape.
A small drop of oil on each inside side will help, but do not get it on the carrier.
Oil kills the primer on the bullet, so don't overdo it.

You need a 'clip loader'. When clips have a good hard spring, they can get difficult after loading a few.

There are a few things to try:
a loader, as mentioned above is one. Many gun shops have em.

You can take the clip apart & look at the spring. sometimes a spring too long is used. The fix, is to cut some off the spring & stretch it a bit. You need to know what you are doing when you do this, as if not done correctly you will impact the reliability of round feeding.

some times there is a problem inside the case of the clip with some obstruction near the bottom. The fix is to take apart & see if this is true.

It is not uncommon to have to work on clips as they have quality control problems from time to time.

I don't have trouble usually until trying to get the last round in, whatever size clip. That last round is a PITA. If it's really a problem, find some pre-ban higher capacity mags. The spring will have more give and you should get more rounds in more easily.

Seriously though, since these are rented firearms, can't do any mods, but it does help to know this isn't unheard of on mags.

Even on "rented" firearms you can still carry a small bottle of 3 in 1 oil and lube the slide and Mag for "accuracy" At many competitive events where the firearms are provided (and supposedly equalized) any good shooter will "Clean" the firearm to gain that advantage. Be happy it's a Glock. On the old Gold Cups (Colt 45 ACP)it took a real man to pack a full clip.

So.... Yeah, yer a whimp but remember.... In firearms and WOMEN .... Dry is BAD!!!!! Very hard to get it "ALL" in either one without the proper "Lube".
