Am I hosed with my D2?

A kid I know was recently over my place and I was demoing diablo 2 for him. Well, after he left I discovered he had a gotten a burned copy of the game from someone else and that the only reason he was over my place was to steal my CD key!!! I don't know if you got it or not, but what happens if he does have it? Will it invalidate my D2 when I try to play on battle.net? After I find out pros/cons of his actions I am going over to his place and confront him (ie kick his a**)!

I propose calling Blizzard and ask them to provide you with another code as well as lock the one he stole. Also remember to register before he does.
