Am I gonna be able to use the new 533FSB chips in my TH7 II?

I don't have the "good" ICS generators, but was wondering if I stuck in a 533 FSB chip, would the board be okay with it?

Sure, but there really is no point, your ram will hold you back to no better performance than a 400mhz fsb processor.

I really ought to know more about this, but since the mobo forces the RAM to run at higher speeds when overclocking, shouldn't it also allow 1066 RAM (or run 800@1066)?

If you get the ram running at PC-1066 then go for it for sure. I think you may be able to find some on google gear. You can look around on pricewatch as well. It will be considerd an OC though so your chances will vary, I'd say you have a very good chance of getting the board to run at 133 as long as your ram can handle it, and your motherboard as well.

That's what I was wondering...whether it would sort of "count" as overclocking with this board. Thanks for the help!
