Am I going to experience ANY issue with the 24-pin mobo and 20-pin connector?

After reading the sticky, I'm already hoping that my 20-pin 400W Antec PSU will be fine for my 9NPA+ Ultra, 3200+ Venice, and X800 XL. But are the plug and connector notched properly so that my Antec plug will go straight into the Epox connector? No adapter is needed, and then the extra four plugs will just be left empty?

Very cool to hear.

I'm surprised, though, because I figured the notch would be centered on both the plug and the connector. However, if it was centered on both, and if one is longer than the other, obviously it would not fit.

Hi, The extra pins are duplicated in the 20 pin connector. Same thing as using larger size wire for less IR losses in the leads. It should run OK, but if you plan to OC you may need to get an adaptor that takes power from one of the HD molex connectors and supplies the missing 4 pins. The adaptor should not be hard to find. I won't be OCing, and I'll only be running a 9NPA+ Ultra, a 3200+ Venice, 1 GB of memory, an X800 XL, a sound card, one optical, one HDD, and three case fans. The 400W SmartPower should be sufficient?
