Am I going to die?

So, my wife and I got some McCain cake from the corner store.

Upon our first bites, we noticed it tasted minty. The taste was exactly like mint chocolate chip ice cream. We finished the cake any ways.

We decided to Google the phenomena, and didn't get a single result. We couldn't find any reference to mint in McCain cake. The ingredients on the packaging don't indicate anything either.

Should we call poison control?

Cliff notes:
1) Ate minty flavoured McCain cake
2) ...
3) Stomach pump?

by the way, OP, you should only be concerned if it tasted of almonds, yet there were no almonds or almond flavoring in the the cake.

mint is fine.

...or it being a "McCain cake" (wtf is that?), was that listerine flavor you were mistaking for mint?

Don't want they eat frozen cake use your imagination. OP when it tasted strange why didn't you stop eating LOL
If you don't die send your wife into the kitchen so she can bake you a fresh cake!!

It tasted different, but I just assumed it was a new flavour. We got worried when we couldn't find any reference to said flavour.
