Yes, you're going to die, eventually.

The date is the sell-by date, it's only important in selling the stuff.

Basically, you can eat nearly everything and you won't get sick - look at little kids, or those stupid reality shows. Go ahead and eat! Yum.

Don't worry, expiration dates are a scam invented by the food companies to get you to throw out your food so they can increase turnaround on their products :p

I don't see this as being any worse than when I ate 2 week old butter, which had been left on the counter, unrefrigerated. I also asked the forum members, Am I going to die? We'll a couple months later, I'm still with us. :)

Butter doesn't have to be kept in the fridge.
