Almost every purchase/sale I've made has gotten screwed up in the past week:
1) I bought an MSI K7T266 mobo from someone with a perfect heatware & ebay reputation...it arrived in a nice looking condition. Well, I put the first clip of my hsf on the CPU socket, and BOOM, the plastic breaks. I hadn't even pushed hard on it. So he paid for 80% of a new 3 clip hsf for me, but I still have to wait for it to get here, and there's no gaurantee the other two clips will be sturdy.
2) I sold MechWarrior 3 to someone with 10+ heatwares (all positive). He claims it arrived "in 2 peices". :| After several PM's, I almost refunded him, but then realized that he hadn't paid me yet. I asked, and after a couple hours, he said he hadn't. That was close, huh? So, we're even (if it's really broken...).
3) I bought a nice Belkin 360 watt UPS for someone from a website and chose 3-day shipping. It got here today (3rd day), but the box was kinda smushed, and upon opening the package I found that the plastic on the UPS itself had been smushed, too. Well, it works...but I'm not too happy with it's condition.
4) I sold a Linksys 5 port hub to someone, and it they got it today. They claim it is "dead". However, it was working fine for me and I had disconnected it from my network only moments before packing it. They say the LEDS light up, but "it wont even establish a basic network connection between two computers ". I think it's a user error, but WTH, nothing else has seemed to go right, so I told them to send it back and I'll refund them.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I think I'll just stop buying and selling stuff for now. This is just rediculous.
At least my new GF4 Ti 4200 is working That's about all!
