Am I entitled to mental anguish?

Decided to treat myself last night. Heck I never eat out and I felt lazy so decided to order pizza. Called up Mr. Jim's and ordered a pizza, cinnamon sticks, and bread sticks. Pizza was definitely lacking on toppings but I guess that's your chain store pizza these days. The breadsticks and cinnamon sticks on the other hand. Yes that's raw dough and the breadsticks were burnt to piss then covered in butter..

I would call and get a credit for next time.

I called and got them to refund me in full. I paid cash so they had a delivery driver return my money to me and I returned all this garbage back to them. Didn't touch any of it. F'ing disgusting. I don't know how many people just decide to eat this garbage as it is but I doubt I'm the one order that got screwed up.

Man, that's some greasy looking stuff there and I usually don't mind some grease.

As chain store pizzas have turned into reheated crappy frozen pies with shrunken portions I've found that grocery store frozen pizzas have gotten a lot better and more robust over the years. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'd rather have a heated up frozen pizza from the grocery store rather than a delivery from the hut or dominos.

There's a couple local places of varying quality though, one is pretty solid with lots of tasty ingredients and good size but its a bit further away. The closer one used to be great but they seem to be having money troubles and appear to becoming really stingy with the ingredients so I think I'm done with that place. The pies taste OK still but like I said, I can buy a frozen pizza from the grocery store that is OK or even better so I sure as hell am not going to pay more and then have the hassle of driving down the road for just OK.

I would take a gun, go to store and to shoot everyone in that store - that's how is done in US nowadays...next time....well there will be no next time for those suckers in that pizza store... :)

You have to stand your ground. These bread sticks are a clear attempt to give the OP food poisoning which could lead to death which means the the OP can respond with deadly force. Its a clear cut case of self defense. Good shoot.

I've never seen garlic knots like those in any chain I've bought from. Where was this from?

edit: Ah, Mr. Jim's is the full name of the place. Looks like they're only in Texas so I won't have to try very hard to avoid them.

Well according to people here, they're automatically better than any national chain because they're not a national chain.

People anywhere in The World are the same - 2 arms, 2 legs, a head on the shoulders....

It's the customs of people living in different places on this planet and politicians, who want to decide about other people and what they SHOULD eat....

Nothing ruins a long day like a fail meal.

I worked for 13 hours once and came home exhausted and hungry, burnt my pizza to an absolute crisp (oven somehow got to 700F) and cried once lmao. It is known as "the pizza night"

Just something about being really hungry and messing up my meal while exhausted, it felt like a hunter who hunted for 13 hours and didn't get the kill. All was better when I made something else!

Oye the mental anguish!

But I do know that feel.

Sue for mental anguish since you had a sales contract once you paid, and you didn't get what you paid for. lol

Yep. Everytime I'm thinking pizza, I go for home made or just buy a Red Baron's from the store.
