Am I doing this right?

I got my new NF7-S and 2500+ Barton screwed into the box and got every thing working fine at default settings.
So I figured I'd see if I could push it a little. Voltages are at default settings, ram/FSB ratio at 6/6,
CPU interface enabled, and memory timings set to optimal which is 8 4 4 3.0. I'm now at 11x190. I've run
3D Mark 2001 se for over an hour with no problems. I'm using 2x256 PNY pc 2700 memory with 6ns Spectek chips.
Am I missing something, this seems just too easy. The last thing I overclocked was a 600 Celeron to 720, so
you guys can see I'm a little new to AMD overclocking. Thanks for your comments, Bob

Thanks Shady06, I'll download Prime 95 and run it overnight tonight. Then I'll come back and ask for some help on mem timings. What really surprises me is that my $15.00 after rebate memory even boots at anything higher than 166.

actually you got a good point there. pny doesnt use the greatest modules. to get to 190 mhz on pny pc2700 is quite impressive
