Radeon VE 32MB, K6-2 400 on a FIC-503+, 64MB Ram, Win 98

I would think that with that video card and stuff I'd have no problem playing the most current games without choppy action. However, in Star Trek Voy Elite Force, for example, whenever there is more than 1 or 2 bad guys in an area it lags to hell.

Am i missing something?

Thanks.

I think K6-2 400 is your problem. The K6-2 is known to have poor float point calculation performance and 3D games rely on float point calculations.

What resolution are you running at and do you have the same problem with games like Quake III, UT, NOLF, etc??

You need a faster CPU and more RAM. Get at least a Duron and another 128 MB stick of RAM.
