Am I doing it right?

Is that about right for an M0 stepping?

I could push maybe another 100Mhz CPU stable with bumping it like 2FSB at a time. It wasn't stable at 380FSB.

Memory/FSB/Heat wasn't a limiting factor. Only me refusing to give it higher than 1.36v or so. That Pic is with vdroop.

Yah, that's about right - why no 10x multi?

You're way within cpu vcore voltage limits... try 360 x 10 (might take a little more juice).

On the 45nm's anyway.

Yah that's right. I think - but i didn't know what your multiplier was, so...

:)

what are you other voltages at? northbridge? Vfsb? memory volatge and multiplier.....

I would bump it up to 1.4v in bios so that actual under load does not exceed 1.36v (which I believe is within the range INtel specifies)

One bump in vcore to (idle/load) 1.36v/1.34v allowed me to push this:

And for the curious:

Before when I was hanging at around 370FSB, the memory was at DDR2-740 or so, to rule it out as a factor. The NB is at stock voltage, I don't expect to need a FSB voltage bump until ~420-440Mhz or so.

FSB is probably around 1.08v
Memory is 1.8v G.Skill DDR2-800

I don't know, I was just expecting at least 3.8Ghz by 1.36v and it just will not happen.

I dont know about that...I had to bump my vfsb before 420-440....I think I had to first do it around 400...may want to try it...stock is 333 and 400 represents 20% increase...

What ram and motherboard are you using OP ?

I have the same cpu and just got my Cooler Master Hyper 212 installed. And plan on clocking as far as I can as well.

Good results you achieved thus far. Good Job

I was using a Neo2-Fr board and I can tell you it required vfsb before 420fsb.....I would throw vcore at it and it would eventually get stable....however when I went back and bumped up the vfsb in some cases I didn't need the vcore to gain stability

I think you should bump your vfsb a bit now and see if it helps...
