Am I counting dead pixels correctly?

I have a Hyundai W240D PVA display that I set to 1920x1200.

I have taken a close up photo of a black line that is permanently on the display. The photo is here:

I have drawn a white box on the photo that I consider to be the size of one pixel (my understanding is that, on a PVA screen, there are three sub-pixels - B, R and G - to each pixel.)

I count 3-and-a-bit dead pixels.

Am I correct?

looks like dust or something under the screen
