If u really want her not to wear such an item then out of respect of her being your GF she shouldnt wear it and same goes with things she doesnt want you to wear. Its a concept of respect. If its just because ur hella jealous and ur worried about losing her, think of it this way, your going to lose her regardless if she does or doesnt show off her cleavage. But then again thats my 2 cents. :T

You guys are just being a bunch of horny perverts who would be offended if a nice cleavage has been taken out of viewing. If she's faithful to you, she shouldn't be showing off her goodies to everyone else.

If I want to show off my D's that is my choice.
He should be proud to know that I am with him and not be insecure about other
guys looking.
Guys will be guys...they are always going to look no matter what.

pics? :)

if it isn't too extreme it is fine but if you aren't letting her show any of it yeah get a grip and let her live her life

Well...if it's something slutty I think it's a good thing to tell her you find it distasteful, but as long as she's loyal to you (and you to her), then enjoy the view right? Who cares what all the other losers staring at her do so long as they don't try to cop a feel?

Take pride that the woman/GF likes you and you are Da Man. Show off what a great looking SO you have. She is with you for a reason. Maybe she likes to look good for YOU. At least that is how my SO puts it. And I agree.....It's MINE :)

Or you're just an overly protective insecure bastard

When you're in a relationship do you dress like crap and not comb your hair or shave? Everyone likes to feel attractive.

Oh, so showing excessive cleavage is basic body hygiene? Let's take off some more clothes so we'll be cleaner!! Yeah!

There is a difference between feeling attractive and dressing provacatively. My wife is very attractive in a dress that goes down to her ankles and doesn't show cleavage at all and she knows it. Conservative elegance can (and often is) attractive, slutty is never attractive. Arousing, perhaps, but not attractive.

Whether the cleavage (or any other appearance/clothing option) is up for discussion depends entirely on the relationship.

If someone you care about is sensitive about a relatively easy to modify clothing option then one would think that you'd consider that sensitivity and whether or not it's worth making an issue out of it. The same goes for if a spouse or SO wants their partner to dress more provacatively. In either case there's a need or interest that should be addressed. How that interest is handled can dynamically support or erode a relationship; that is if it becomes a contentious issue.

I fail to see how a GF revealing cleavage constitutes her being a "hoe", "seeking other men", or "insert random comment demeaning to women". Unless someone here fail to mention she's wearing a g-string as a halter top...

For one, they look good to make us look good.

You telling her what to wear? Yeah that's too protective, actually that's not protective, it's just overbearing and controlling.

I think you should let her do what she wants for the most part, BUT, you should make her understand that she will be thought of as a pair of boobs in the eyes of men and possibly a slut in the eyes of women. Being a guy, I don't really know how a woman feels but do let her know that most guys are passively objectifying her. But if that's what she wants then tell her she should also put some glitter on her boobs to take even more attention away from her face and mind!

You'll end up losing her and posting a YAGT about how you wouldn't let her be herself. We'll then call you an idiot and you'll start playing WoW because you won't be worthy of having a female even acknowledge your measly existance.

Who cares? Oh this must be the first girl to talk to you so you better not do anything to piss her off. Let her do what she wants, no one likes an overbearing person to TRY and run their lives.
