As I post I getting hits on my firewall about 2 a minute from 66.79.159.81 ports 53373-53374 (UDP traffic) to my IP on ports 33435-33437. What kind of traffic is this ? Is it an attack ?
UDP traffic on port 33435 is what you see when you are a "traceroute" recipient. The port number is incremented by 1 for each additional tracert packet sent.
I don't know if what you are seeing is an attack or the result of someone like pnap.net doing a network response time test.
If you do a Google search for "Port 33435" you will find lots of information.
I guess if you're not using those ports, you should just use your firewall and block them ... if something that you use is using those ports .. i guess you'll find out =P
