Am I being bad?

I bought the Ipod shuffle 512mb model last night and saw that for $10 more on Ebay I could get the 1 GB model. I was gonna order the 1 GB model off of Ebay, and then once I got it, take back the 512 mb model to Target. Is this morally wrong?

What is morally wrong is stealing knick-nacks from Nanna to buy cheap wine and cigs. What you want to do is merely annoying a Multinational Corporation.

Yeah, it is. You're stealing a little bit of money from Target in terms of employee resources, shipping costs, and (slightly) potential profit.

But I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Fsck, it's Target. Come on.

I called Target and told them and they said they would take it back (I just said it wasn't compatible with my computer). If they don't take it back, I'll just ebay it for near what its worth...

i depends on Target's return policy

if you have to be dishonest to meet the requirements of their return policy, then there you go. if you return it you are a dishonest person

the OP is a liar

but then 99.9% of the people are fine with being liars

Just because the scope is different doesn't make it less wrong. Stealing a dollar from a millionaire is just as wrong as stealing a dollar from a homeless person.

But I'm gonna be bringing a USED gym sweaty Ipod back to Target...

Do you have so little self-control that you can't abstain from using the first one you bought, return it, and just wait until the one from eBay arrives?
Or had you already used it before you saw the eBay deal?

I called and they said they should be able to take it back.

When I get the one off of ebay I will go in and just say I found it for a cheaper rate ... I won't lie.

Why don't you just go return it now and just wait to get the one from eBay so you aren't returning a used product? You make no sense. . .you're totally contradicting yourself. . .If you really cared about doing the right thing you would just return it without using it since it is totally within your power to do so. You are a loser.

There is no need to make up a BS story about compatability. They're not that stupid. Just tell them you found a better deal elsewhere, nothig wrong with that.
