Am I alone in thinking AMD's Hawaii GPU has aged really well?

A more recent example, The Division, NV PCSS makes shadows softer, 20% performance loss thanks. Just for slightly blurrier and softer shadows.

Then guess what, HBAO+ makes shadows darker and more defined... what?!

Personally I like my cinematic blurry defined toned softened shadows to be much better than AMD Driver's dream hot power consumption rebrand.

But yes, my 290 has done wonders for me @ 2560x1600. Mantle gave a great boost back when I played BF, now DX12/Vulkan will keep it kicking for the next gen stuff.

Actually looking forward to Quantum Break, watched ~40 minutes of gameplay from XB1 (with auto aim turned off... omg that was horrible). Hopefully they don't make the port as bad as GOW and spent time to optimize it for DX12. Gameplay reminds me a lot of Max Payne / Mass Effect hybrid though
