looks like some of the personalities from OT have transfered over to GH. on the up note, that is a decent machine there, and yes, alot of people need to know what they should buy to run the game so that it runs good. running a game on low specs, unless its doom3, is a horrible way to play.

thanks for your input...i mean i clearly explained that RAID is a comeplete waste yet i get a post calling me an idiot for recomending the raptor if you have the money or a seagate if you think the raptor is a waste...then the guy posts again calling me a n00b that does not know what i am talking about when he is the one saying that 2 seagates will give you the speed of a raptor...not to mention his other comments

and then a random post about RAID being so 3 months ago...i was just confused by that??

maybe i am missing something here?

the only thing you are missing are the lower IQ points.

In all honesty I'd rather run on used SCSI drives than sata II. And RAID is not 3 months ago, still one of the best ways to get a lot of storage with decent speed and for not alot of money.

2 seagates giving you the speed of 1 raptor.... that makes no sense at all, a mirror or stripe will not run as fast the single drive unless you have a bottleneck somewhere.

the only thing you are missing are the lower IQ points.
