No horror stories or experiences. I just met a friend from online who I have known for the past 4 years. She came up to visit me with her friend for the past couple of days. It was a good time, and it was nice not having a sweaty 40 year old fat man show up 😉 I guess you do meet some real people on the net 🙂

I've only met one person from the net and she was who she said she was. we had only been talking for 2 or 3 months though.
 
it is fun to meet people off the net. last christmas, I actually went to south cali to meet her from ny. we had a great time. I get to know her friends too.

Met her on AOL IM. Was lookin through the AOL profiles one night after work, thought she was good looking and decided to say hello. We've kept in touch the last 4 years, and talked a lot on the phone. Then she decided that she wanted to come up and visit me. 🙂

i haven't had too much success when i used to meet people online.. i did, however meet one girl, from TN, USA who was absolutely awesome. I will never forget her 🙂
