I just bought 10 of the standard steel case P/S for acortech for $10 each. Can't imagine spending more for this decent, crappy P/S. These blow very easily. Make sure that your VC is seated properly. Wouldn't spend more than $12 for this even if it is a bit lighter with the aluminum cover. Anyone spending less than $35-$40 for a P/S is buying a modest, budget unit. Spend more, sleep better I say.

Actually I usually would agree that you need to spend a bit more to get something worth it. However, the specs on this PS are not bad at all. For the price ($25), I think it is a good buy for a budget to semi-intermediate system. Wouldn't try to run a high end system with it but no problem otherwise.

One of these power supplies took out my brother's whole system. You get what you pay for, especially when dealing with power supplies. Spend the extra $20-30 and get something decent.

I've heard bad things about Powmax psu's in the past. I think I'll steer clear of this.
