About 3 years ago I found Alton Brown's personal website where he showed you the tools he used in his house when cooking.

I wanted to check back in and find out which BBQ gloves he used for handling hot charcoal and now his website is a giant marketing scheme.

Does anyone know where I can find his must-have list of kitchen tools?

If not, does anyone remember what kind of gloves he used for handling charcoal? I vaguely remember him using welding gloves.

i think he was using those silicone gloves that are super heat resistant.

you can probably find them at your local Bed Bath & Beyond

I have those but they are only heat resistant to 600F...

From what I am reading online mesquite charcoal can get up to 1200F!

I found his old site on archive.org... I should write these down

EDIT: Awww crap... The javascript doesn't work. rats.

If you require it for some reason or another, I downloaded the first through the seventh complete seasons a long time ago... Let me know if you're really in need. :)

He sold out and removed the list from his personal site. What a let down.

The above link is a list that someone else grabbed before he removed it.

Yeah, just use whatever you have laying around. Why not use tongs or a garden trowel or the lip of a chimney starter?

Metal Tongs? That's what I use. And a stick to move things around a bit.

Do you really need help with this?
Maybe you shouldn't be asking questions like this on a public forum....if you get my drift

Look at some of the responses you got: a rake or shovel ,tongs, trowel, chimney starter, gloves, a STICK, and a hoe, or ,:whatever is lying around". You couldn't figure this out on your own huh?I'm not a troll i just thought maybe your question was a joke. I guess i was wrong.
