Altiris

We were just told we're going to begin using Altiris at work. I'm vaguely familiar with its capabilities. We'll no doubt get training on how to use it, but I'd like to learn about its capabilities ahead of time. Anybody know of any good articles about it? (other than the obvious top 15-20 Google search results)

Go to the Altiris web site. All the documentation is there and it is pretty good. Altiris is my preferred solution for desktop management.

I work for a reseller (Codework) who sell Altiris software and services.

I use deployment solution at work with notification server and patch management, VERY VERY HANDY tool.

10 OS installs of XP takes me 2 minutes to set up in the office..If I were you I'd learn it very very quickly, it's going to get even bigger in years to come.
