From both what i've read and actual MP testing, no. The problem is that the boards reading the internal diode are not using the VIA686-B to handle the temp reading, and that a separate chip(be it winbond as it is now, or whatever they use in hte future) is used to read the diode and monitor temps, rpms, voltages, etc.
Current socket-a boards are already hard-wired between Via686-B to the socket-thermistor, so I don't think any current socket-a board will read the internal diode.
Unfortunately, it looks like the MSI dual board will still be using socket-thermistors, though.
