So the battery light comes on when I come to a stop, sure sign that the alternator is on it's way out.

I thought I was gonna have to buy another one but the wife who thankfully keeps receipts for damn near everything pulls out the original purchase receipt for Autozone from 9/23/1999...I give them a call and the manager tells me sure just bring in the old one (limited lifetime warranty) and well have one waiting for you.

Her organizational skills saved us $105.00.

I think she might be a keeper after all.

Nope. The $105 alternator clinched the deal. Up until now he was just keeping her on because she had a full set of dishware.

Don't ever divorce her. She documented everything. You're screwed if that ever happens.

Autozone keeps all your purchases on a computer too.

I was going to say that. Had a radiator spring a leak 2 years after buying it and they just looked it up on the puter and gave me another one. Did the same thing at Advanced with a master cylinder.
