Looking for a nice arcade stick. X-arcade tankstick looks good, but doesn't have any options for a rotary stick (for games like ikari warriors). SlikStik make some nice units, but they are around $600. Anyone know of any other companies producting arcade quality joysticks?

Make one yourself. I assume it's for PC arcade emulation? You'll need one of these and one of these as part of the interface.

As for the control panel itself, you'll need:

Happ 50-5618-00 rotary joystick (electromechanical, not optical)
Happ Competition (convex) or concave buttons

Note that the I-PAC allows 6 buttons per person (not including start, coin, and the cw/ccw of the rotation of the joystick), but 6 is enough for any modern and almost any (I think?) older arcade game.

A bag of 0.187" female quick disconnects AKA quick connectors makes things a lot easier. You'll need a soldering iron, solder, and tools to make a wooden box (table saw, drill + screws or clamps + glue, etc) unless you can get somebody to build one for you.
