Alternatives to shaving cream???

Gotta shave before I go to work and I just ran out of cream before I could get lathered up... Anyone know of any things I can use as an alternative???

I've heard of people using peanut butter, don't ask me why they'd want to do that. You'd smell like a preschooler afterwards.

Just use some shower gel, shampoo, or soap (if your skin isn't sensitive to bar soap.)

I use regular soap

Razor companies want you to use creams and gels b/c they plug up the razor forcing you to buy new blades all the time.
Using just regular soap, I can use a blade for months
