the server seems to be down. yesterday, it was also "down", and only about 500GB of files were available. i'm making a cd for a friend and i need 2 songs...any suggestions for effective alternatives?
 
AudioGalaxy, i hear has spyware, but when you run Ad Aware, it's all gone, and it has a lot of songs. It's what I use sometimes when I need songs.
 
Ok I've had WinMX for all of 5 minutes and it's already my favorite sharing prog. It's quick and clean and fast. What more do you want?
 


<< the oldie but goodie: IRC! >>

I am a complete newbie at that IRC crap and was unable to find a good place for d/ling mp3s... all of the rooms were something like "invite only" :disgust:. If you want a no hassle file sharing service I suggest winMX or maybe even Edonkey (takes a couple of tries to get into a good server though).
