I was taking my cough medicine when I noticed a couple sheets of paper on my dad's counter informing him that he would have to switch to AT&T Digital Cable soon if he wanted to continue to recieve HBO and a couple of other premium channel type things. We currently use a cable box thing with a crappy ass remote to get our HBO. To recieve HBO with the digital cable we'd have to pay about 10-20$ more then our current ~60$ I think. What's a good alternative to AT&T Cable, or is there a good AT&T Plan out there, or any hot deals on other cable services or satallite. Thx for any info

is direcTV or TiVo expensive or difficult to setup? My parents are also unhappy with our image quality, because even after numerous house calls to AT&T a couple of our main channels (TNT, TBS, Fox, NBC, even HBO sometimes) are fuzzy enough to be unwatcheable.

TiVo is just a digital video recorder.

DirecTV can be cheaper than digital cable but they don't always carry all the local stations (usually just the major networks).

I love DTV. You can usually get a free setup deal by subscribing for a year. One of the reasons I like DTV is because they don't carry local stations (in my area). Network air television sucks.
