Alternative ways to making a living (outside of the typical 40 hour work week)

This is something I think about constantly. I've been toying with the idea of trying to sell photographs to newspapers and magazines, but I'm not really sure how to get started in that area.


How do you guys make extra money or earn a living?

I have done the free agent thing on monster talent market but not much has happened with it.

Extra Money: Setting up peoples Home Theatre Systems, i.e. Hooking Up their DVD player, placing thier speakers in good locations for sound, etc........

Ugh. I couldn't deal with the people that needed so much help hooking up their DVD player that they would pay someone else to do it.

get in touch with some of the stock photography companies. Tough business to get into, though.
