You could try completely disabling User Account Control until it is installed.

Also, try enabling the Built-in administrator account:

1) Click the Windows Start button and type in CMD.

2) Right-click on CMD and click on Run as administrator.

3) Command prompt will open up then type in

net user administrator /active:yes

Then log in to that account and try the install.

Hello tommo123,
I wanted to say that the version from the URL was the one that supports Windows 8.1 however I've messed up a little bit and ended up saying that.

Here is something to try:
* uninstall the software
* delete all created folders
* clear your registry using registry cleaning tool (I recommend CCleaner)
* try to install again but by using the Run as Administrator option

The error code from your crash report, 0x80070005 states that "ACCESS IS DENIED".
So try to install the application as Administrator.

Also did you tried to install on another partition to see if you receive the same results?

The error that you have posted is the one from the Event Viewer?

If not can you post the error that is displayed in Event Viewer?

I've used NetLimiter and it was pretty easy to use (I didn't use the built-in firewall though since I use Comodo), but I've never used NetBalancer. When running torrents I'd recommend using the program's bandwidth limiter (uTorrent's is good).
