Alternative to Ghost Server

I am looking for an alternative to using Ghost Server Enterprise for making and backing up images. I already have it running at one site, but was thinking of building another server for a different site. I currently have a Fedora 4 file server running that I though of using which is why I am looking for an Open Source solution. Or is there away I can just use a Ghost boot disk to back up and restore the images to the Fedora system without installing anything else on it??
