I currently have a Linux computer with a network connection on which I play various videos (avi, mkv, etc.). I use Freevo to list the videos in a directory, and I can navigate them with my remote control (which works through LirC). It all currently works right now, for the most part, but there are small things here and there that don't work quite as well. Freevo seems to have stalled a bit in terms of development, and so I was wondering if someone had a recommendation on a different package.
I'm not interested in time-shifting. I don't need support for a TV tuner. I don't need to record video.
Anyone have ideas?
