I hate the position of those power connectors

Not a useful post,FYI Epox put them there so that power transfer to CPU was clean and minimal distance.

AOpen nCK804a-LFS

Pros: Near perfect layout (in my opinion), high quality Rubycon caps, room for passive northbridge cooling.

Cons: Error in the BIOS causes temp reading to be far higher then it actually is, which in turn breaks the automatic fan control. No brackets for digital audio out, and only one included SATA cable.

I believe main difference is no firewire 1394A on the EP-9NPA3 Ultra.

Right and unless I'm mistaken the DFI board is generally a better overclocking board if you plan to do any overclocking.

TriggerHappy101, check out the EPoX store for the EPoX 9NPA+Ultra board. An OK deal at $78 + Shipping. I've purchased from EPoX before and they've done good by me.

I have the same board. Good OCer and stable board. However, the PCI-E layout is crap. With the size of the card these days + aftermarket cooler, you'll easily cover up the precious PCI slots. IMO the A8N-E has the sensible location for PCI-E covering the near-useless 1x slot instead of the precious PCI slots.
