alternative software for PCTV Pro?

Is there any software that will be able to record tv by time? I just need to use a timed recording feature. As I have Pinnacle's card PCTV Pro. TIA!
 
There are many.. My favorite is Power Director Pro by Cyberlink.. They also make Power VCR which is just the recorder.
 
Do you have any problem running with the PCTV Pro? I think mine is the low end card. Is there any link/review about the card and software functionality?
 
Under '98 (so that you're using VfW drivers):

VirtualDub (freeware) + VirtualDub Recorder (freeware) [I don't have the links with me. PM me if you can't find these with Google]

It doesn't have an EPG but you can key in timings - single or recurring - just like a VCR and compress with installed codecs if desired.
