It looks like my employer does not allow access to any domain.com/webmail addresses, so I'm looking for alternate means of checking my email. I would need to be able to reply from the original email account, so forwarding emails would probably not work.

What would be the best way to accomplish this ?

SSH into another box at home and do it from there.

Could you just set it up to use POP through outlook or thunderbird?

If you can't use POP or webmail you are pretty much SOL. Telnet wouldn't work if POP access doesn't work

For checking e-mail:

1) Go to Mail2Web.com
2) Enter your full e-mail address
3) Enter your password

Or you can ask your webhost if they'll install cPanel Proxy? That would be the ideal solution.

Who is your current web host?

Thanks once again RossMAN

I've sent an email to my host and am hoping they will install the script.
