Altec Lansing ADA880......Any good??

Deos the quality of the sound that comes out from the satellite good? I'm looking for a speaker which can play at high volume and yet maintain the crisp of the treble and bass of the music.

I have a set at the office and they are pretty loud, and the overall sound is very good. However you will probably get a lot of folks telling you to go with the Klipsch Promedias.

<< What kinda Klipsch speakers do you guys recommend?? >>

The Promedia 4.1's

I think you can only get the klipsch via its website, Dell's site, gamepc, and online auction site like e b a y. THEY ALL WILL BE 250, don't think they will be any lower or even higher.

I have this speaker for almost a year now and it works great the only think I didn't like abou it is its not 5.1 its only 4.1 so if you watching dvd, playing games go for Klipsch very loud and clear check out 3D Sound they tests speakers and tell you which is good.

If you want to stay in the $150 range the boston ba4800 are great. I have a set of those and a set of promedias in the other room and they are both quite nice. As I'm sure you've heard the bostons have a nicer midrange while the pros have a nicer high end. Its all how you prefer your music.

I wouldn't buy anything from gogo city. Just take a look at resellerratings once.

Wow! Good point about their ratings at Reseller Ratings.
Myself, I haven't had any problems with them, but I suppose one should be careful when ordering from them.
