altec lansing acs56 VS cambridge soundworks (creative) fps2000 speakers

I've been looking to get a speaker system for around 50$. Both the acs56 and the FPS2000's are in that price range and both are supposed to be pretty good. The ACS56 is supposed to be more powerfull, but the fps2000 would plug into my digital output on my soundcard right out of the box.

Does anyone know anything more about these speakers?
My main concern is which of the two sounds better, and is a better overall value for me. I mostly listen to music, and play games so those are my requirements.
