ALTEC LANSING ACS54??? thoughts?

I am spending a lot of money soon on pc parts so I don't want to spend the same amount of $ on the speakers as on the cpu. I was gonna get the Cambridge 5.1 speakers but they are over 200 Canadian and the acs54 4piece are only 89.99 + tax CANADIAN. I am getting the sound blaster live value 5.1 card and I am going to use my speakers for mp3, gaming, and dvd. I want good quality speakers that are loud, reliable and have a good sound. Remember I don't want some $400 P.O.S Klipsch. Pls tell me if these speakers are good for the price and are quality for my new rig. THX
