Im on a budget and im looking for a good set of speakers. I will mostly be using them for gaming and also watching the ocasional DVD. Im having a tough time choosing between the ACS-56 and the FPS-2000's. I have read reviews on both and i think the ACS-56's seem to be a better set. What do yu guys think??? I found the ACS-56's for $160CDN and the FPS-2000's For $200CDN. Also any other speakers out there yu would recommend in this price range. THANKS!

I have the ACS-54 which are pretty close to the ACS-56 (the 56 has a better subwoofer and more controls on the speakers), and they sound really good. The sub is a little boomy thanks to the fact it only has a 4" woofer (and is ported really well to get low frequencies out of it), but the 56 shouldn't be as bad since it features a bigger woofer and it won't have to be ported as much to get the lower frequencies. You can't go wrong with the Altec Lansing's.

I got them and love them, the sub is pretty nice, im impressed by the power of the sub which is only 6.5 inches, sounds as good as the 12 inches. and the contorls are much better then on the fps2000. I got them for about 100$ at computer show.
