Hi all,
I read this message from another post and was curious if anyone knew anything about it...

"Don't try complaining about the quad mode problem either, that can be fixed for any OS with any SB Live card (I've done it for ME and XP, heard reports that it can be fixed on 2k"

All I can think of would be the somewhat poor bass response in quad mode - and anandtech review also made mention to this here

saying something about phase cancellation in the base unit

If anyone could shed some light on this, and a possible solution with the SBlive and windows, it would be greatly appreciated.
