Would you then say "let me check google real quick?" But for all you nitpickers, of course, google could index their intranet.

Which would be even lamer ... a search engine portal that outsources the search engine for their intranet!

FWIW, I just put the same search into altavista that I ran recently on google ... altavista sucks, there wasn't anything on the4 first page, on google almost the whole first page was appropriate

obvioulsy I am referring to the time before google (yes there was a "before google").
