Altavista Babelfish not working?

I've been trying to get a german webpage translated for several days now and each time I drop the URL into the Babelfish translator on Altavista's website it give me the following message:

Translation Service not available at this time. Please retry later. (c: 28)

I've previously had this page translated by the same tool. Anyone know if Altavista is planning on renewing their license? I sent Altavista an email a couple of days ago (they provided an email addy), but nothing has come to fruition.

Why is this Exclusively in German webpage so important to you? In the days you spent waiting, you could've done your own research and posted your own results instead of trying to rob someone else's work.

Done my own research? Ahem, Colorfacts, the system which the person uses, is +$2,000. Also, what am I suppose to be robbing by reading what is on a public website? And the next time you feel like accusing someone of illegal activity, make sure you know what the hell you are talking about!

geez man....jumping to conclusions.

not everyone uses the translation to cheat in class.

someone of us need it for reading about what germans do in germany. and dont know anyone who speaks german.

i wouldnt be able to read some news articles about the german robotics industry for work.

It is pretty bad when a consumer wishes to read a review of a product, has the reviewer FYI on an American board, have an American consumer try to read the review, only to get accused of stealing something. Let's hope his other +22,000 posts are troll-like.

sometimes the translate-the-website doesn't work too well.
i prefer to copy and paste text into the Babelfish page... works like a charm every time.

I work in Switzerland so ppl will now and then forward a mail to me that was in German...
