i know there was a topic on this before but i searched and didnt find anything... anyway, in XP, for some reason the ALT+TAB with the thumbnail image of the program shows up, it was disabled before.. does anyone remember how to put it back to normal?

i finally found out how!!!!
go to RUN.
type in: msconfig
click the STARTUP tab
disable anything thats not important. TASKSWITCH is one of them.
now, i dont see previews anymore,

I don't know how to remove it, but if you use windows key+alt+tab it will use the old task switching

cool, i didn't know that.

anyway, the thumbnail view could have been created if you installed powertoys. I think you can remove the alt-tab power toy in the control panel.
