I resently partitioned my drives to run xp and linux, but after i couldnt get xp to boot, i deleted the linux partition using gparted. After this, i flagged xp as the boot os, but now I get an disk read error. Is there any way to fix this?
 
Have you tried popping in an XP install CD and taking a crack at it with the recovery console?
