I submitted this resume for an internship with the 130 year old telecommunciations giant in my area, and I have my first interview for the internship in the corporate communications department on Thursday.

I'm pretty confident about getting the job. I'm a salesman. As soon as they allow me an interview and I get my foot in the door, I'm hired.

However, pride precedeth the fall. This would be a nice step (going from $10/hr to ~$15/hr) and it would add valuable work experience to my resume. This was submitted on 4/12, so I can't change it for this particular position, but please offer any advice you can.

Thanks in advance.

if your resume is only one page, I would suggest a cover letter.

Well, I could drag it out with more work history, but I've always thought that most resumes over a page long were discarded anyway.

I changed my personal info for you haxors out there.

objective is too wordy...

To work in an environment where I can utilize and expand my knowledge of public relations and corporate communications. <--- stop here IMO
