Alright, who's got their Christmas lights down?

Got everything down on the inside and out and almost everything packed up and back into the attic.

My son is really upset about it though. He wants his Christmas trees to stay up so it can stay Christmas.

It does look kind of weird now though to look in the front living room and outside and not see any lights.

Everything was down, and put away on the 27th. I loved this time of year when the kids were growing up, but I dislike it now, that they are grown and gone.

Boy i feel the same way. Tree is down, wreaths, everything mostly is down today. It was raining and crappy outside so the husband is gonna take the lights down sometime this week... they are off though.

I just feel that with lights and garland and a tree, our living room looks more inviting.

Gosh, now the whole winter without anything else.

i took a couple of flood lights out, but i didn't take the icicles down, i was hoping i could just leave them up
but maybe the wind blows them around too much, maybe i'll get them down saturday

Outside lights are still up and I turned them on tonight. All the decorations for inside the house are down and packed away in our under-the-stairs storage. I have a 2nd baby on the way on January 3rd (wife is being induced), so I imagine this lights will be up for a bit longer. My excuse for not taking them down so far has been the cold and rainy weather we've been having.

guilty as charged. Took the lights down today.. it was a beautiful day, no wind, mid 40's..

i love summer because its jetski season and i like winter for christmas.. its the times between that really suck.

We actually used to leave the lights up, when we lived in a house with dark green eves. I'd just go around and remove all the bulbs. I'd get new bulbs every year, when the season came. I got tired of stapling my sleeves to the wood all the time. 😉

Helped my dad take down the tree today since my older brother and I both leave tomorrow until the summer. The lights will probably come down this weekend or next with the help of my little brother.

Never had them up, it's good to be an atheist. My neighbors will have theirs up to Memorial Day and possibly even the 4th of July.
