It looks so different, but I will not pass judgement until I take a closer look.

I heard it's suppose to be in the high 20's to low 30's for a fully loaded model...

I would rather get a G35 for that price.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. If you customize one on Nissan's site, the price comes to 34k - but it does have some unique features that the G35 doesn't (even though the G kicks it's ass in styling, and RWD power).

I know you got those pics from bluefish in teh 6th gen section of Maxima.org forums. I just finisehd reading that thread.

Apart from teh grill, the car looks good. Look at it in person, it has a elegant presence.

Shouldn't the title say "the OFFICIAL 2004 Saturn Ion site is finally up" 😛

What do you guys think about the "sky view". I'll wait until I see it in person to decide on that. I work at a Nissan dealer and our first one should be here in the next few weeks.

It looks better than the spy shots. I like it, except the grille.

my thoughts exactly
much like the Murano grille.. kinda ugly
the rest of the car looks great though
the back is really nice!! even the front is.. cept the grille. the 2000 style grille rocks. i dunno why they didn't keep something like that. 🙁

LMAO!!! 😛

2003 Saturn Ion 3 Review
People already are making jokes about the Ion, even though it's been on sale for less than six months. One of our friends spotted the Saturn in our driveway and cracked, "Oh, I see you're driving the new Maxima." That's how close the two rooflines look, especially from the rear. That may be a compliment to Saturn, but if I were Nissan, I'd sue for defamation. This is probably the last car they want compared to the new Maxima.

😛😀

i like the back a lot more than the current one. overall really nice looking! but yeah i agree the grill is ugly. it would look good with the bmw grill i think 😛

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the spy pics! "A big Saturn Ion."

Erm, the Ion came out before the Maxima. Why Nissan wanted to copy the Ion is beyond me.
Yes, but when the Ion came out, I read several reviews that said the styling looked Nissan-esque. Also, considering the development cycle of cars, there's no way Nissan had even seen the Ion when the Maxima was redesigned. I saw spy pics of this Maxima before the Ion was released.

That said, it does look like an Ion, and the grille is ugly.
