Stock was delisted, trading in OTC around 11 cents/share. 52 week high is $100+/share. Yet, the ratings for it from TheStreet mark it JUST below hold and JUST into the sell range. Wouldn't something like this be an F? As in sell sell sell? So does this mean they think there's a potential for recovery?

Everything has a potential for recovery before they file for bankrupcy. So your question really is whether or not you should heed the ratings.

its a penny stock, they did a 1:10 split a few weeks ago to try and stay listed but the stock kept tanking.

But maybe, just maybe, it has a chance of reversing that trend.

Go for it, but I'd put the odds against it.must be heavily subprimed to have tanked so bad

But then why wouldn't the ratings be F?

So you're saying that an investment is all good as long as it's A-D?

Is this a joke?

No? Market is going to tank this week. Recover the week after, recycle.

So just keep buying and selling SFK and FAZ?

sell as soon as it pops. It's only good for short term downside volatility. BTW this is high risk...I'm making reco bc you seem to like high risk by asking about Thornburg (which is trash and will go to zero).

do not re-buy after you sell until it approaches it's 52 week low again. it's difficult to understand the pricing, and i reiterate only good for SHORT TERM downside vol.

Sure, I'll fart around with it for a bit. Is now a good time to buy it, or should I wait until it drops again? Looks like I'd probably just do FAZ.

I think now is good time. Market rallied last week...should approach 8k again this week. CAVEAT: if big three bailout goes through this week...market might pop and FAZ will get killed.

So I assume a stop loss would probably be good.

No, just have really good surveillance. Volatility might screw you on the stop loss (i.e. temporary dip causes your SL to trigger, then it shoots up).

I meant a stop loss of like $20/share. So I don't lose more than half my dough. But I can't figure out what you mean by your definition of "tanking".
