I was reading the news and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I ignored it when I saw movement again. Hmmmm.... I turn my head and we made eye contact. We both jumped in fear and the intruder ran off I took chase. WHAM I run into my FREESCO router. GODDAM, FSUCKING, POS, BITCH, MY KNEE. GRRRR..... pay back time. It ran behind the P2-450 and I though it was cornered. No such luck. As I tried to smack it with a wire raceway I ran. Slippery devil!!!! It then ran into the closet. HOW DARE IT INVADE MY DEN!!!

I started tosssing stuff out and I saw it again, it ran to the otherside of the closet. I started tossing stuff out of the otherside of the closet when I saw it again!!! It ran under a copy of The Count of Monte Cristo and WHAM!!! I pushed the book on top of it. I then reached under and grabbed its tail. Poor think was scared out of its mind. I've never seen one shake so bad before. I took a quick pic with my digital camera (DAMN USB CABLE IS AT WORK!!!) to document my trophy. I went into the kicthen and found a old tomoto(e) soup can and put it in there

Now a STB RIVA 128ZX, Matrox G400 MAX, Hollywood+ MPEG card, 20 sticks of 72pin EDO RAM, 2 528MB HDDs, 2 3COM 905Bs, 2 Socket 7 mobos, 4 port hub, some old ISA sound cards, 1 AT mid tower case, and a crapload of game boxes lying all over the floor. GRRR... thats a lot of cleanup.

Of course the big question is what to do with that little field mouse?

Yea I had hamsters and this one is scarcely larger than a 4 week old. I can't believe how bad it was shaking.

Cockroaches, ants, and flys you kill.

But a little mouse? Even though he/she caused you grief, ya gotta let it go..... My GF has hamsters, a kind-of relative. I couldn't bring myself to hurt one of them. I probably wouldn't feel too much different about a mouse.

Aw, c'mon Windogg.....-kd5-

The sadistic side of me says "microwave," although I'd never do that.

The more sensible side of me says take it outside & let it go. It's certainly not causing you any harm. Either that or train it to perform sexual favors, & offer it a home under your desk.

:Q

I would, however, find out what it was doing in your office in the first place. I sincerely doubt it was seeking employment.

I needed to pick up the GF at the train station. About 5 miles from the house I released it into a field. Go free little one but be careful. This dogg may just be a bad little kitty next time.

Good choice.

On the microwave note, though, this works very well to exterminate trapped bees & wasps. 2 seconds in the MW & they don't feel very hostile anymore.

Want to trade your mouse for some of these darn lizards??
Its like having baby dinosaurs all around the house. I keep putting them outside and they keep getting back in.

If you have ever been to S. Florida, you know what I mean. Like em, though.

Good to hear you let it go Windogg, anyone that would kill or intentionally hurt a harmless mouse is an ass :)

As the weather gets colder, they will be trying to find homes inside. D-Con works great! Little cups of Antifreeze will also work. Just make sure that there are not pets around. It has a sweet taste.
