Alright, Now What Should I Upgrade?

alright, you guys helped me upgrade my pc awhile back by saying buy a new graphics card. well i did that last week and want to know if i should upgrade anything else to make it more powerful.

specs in sig.

um, my mobo supports new cpus and such
up to 4GB of ram
room for 3 hard drives
and pci slots

i use this for gaming mainly battlefield 2 right now.
any help would be appreciated.

Its fine. Maybe 2 extra sticks of 512 in order to avoid the lag people are supposedly getting from BF2. What mobo btw.

You may want to wait on the sound card though. Battlefield 2 is the first game to take advantage of some new features on X-Fi, so you may want to wait until that comes out.

alright thanks guys, i will buy another gig of ram and wait on the sound card. i will be back when i have bought it...peace

for me that would be an upgrade, keep it 3ghz is still considered new(current).

Wait on CPU/mobo. Wait for DC.

RAM might be worth it but think about it:

If you're going dual core say next yr, you're gonna be throwing out 2GB DDR for DDR2 ><
