Alright, i could use some recommendations for a Laptop.

Recommend me:
- CPU Type/Speed
- Screen size
- Manufacture (dell, ibm, asus, whatever)
- Memory size
- Hard drive size/speed
- Wireless/no wireless
- Any other Parts (CD-Drives, etc)

Going to be used for/as:
- Graduation gift
- moderate gaming at best
- mainly net surfing typing papers etc (56K probably)
- perhaps music videos pics etc maybe not.
- The person isn't very computer illiterate.

Remember: it has to be under $1200! Less is better!

Dell 600m, Pentium M 1.4/1.5, 256MB Minimum on RAM, 30GB HD, 14.1 either XGA or SXGA+ - the SXGA+ is 1400X1050, XGA is 1280X1024, depends on your preference.

Might as well add the wireless, it's only a bit more...you should be able to squeeze something out of it under 1200...call up Dell and see what they can do. It's small enough to be portable for students and also it has a Radeon 9000 Mobile...good enough for most games.
